How answers earn marks in this course

  • Authorities on every step: section numbers, case names, years. "Per Bhe" beats "per the case".
  • Apply, don't describe: every rule must touch the facts given. No application, no analysis marks.
  • Close with evaluation: one critique paragraph (family property, role-vs-function, abolition debate) lifts a good answer into the top band.
  • Concede then distinguish: "Davis J held X, but the SCA reversed because…" shows currency.
